52 in 25: Redefining Indie Storytelling in One Year

Go behind the scenes of our daring plan to produce 52 original films in one year—and how you can be part of it.

In 2020, we had a vision.

It started in Arizona—just an idea. What if we could tell real stories from real people in a bold and fresh way? What if we could reshape the future of indie film, starting with our own community?

That idea became 52 in 25.

Now in 2025, we’re making it real. One short film, every week, for a full year. That’s 52 original stories—each one created to connect, inspire, and show what’s possible when creativity meets purpose.

So far, this has been more than a project.
It’s the start of a movement.

Why We’re Doing This

At first, we just wanted to make good films with solid budgets. We wanted to showcase Arizona stories and Arizona talent.

Over time, though, we saw something more. We didn’t just need films—we needed a team. Therefore, we designed 52 in 25 to help us find that team. Each project is a test. It shows who’s hungry, who’s creative, and who’s ready to grow together.

In other words, it’s about the work and the people.

We’re Starting in Arizona—But Going Bigger

Of course, we’re proud to call Phoenix home. Even so, we know that stories don’t stop at state lines.

That’s why we’re also reaching into California, Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, and other cities across Arizona. Our goal is to meet artists, storytellers, and builders throughout the Southwest.

After all, movements grow when people come together. And we’re building something worth growing.

What Makes This Campaign Different

You may have seen other film challenges before. Usually, they focus on speed or social media hits.

But we’re doing something different. Our films won’t just disappear after one post. Instead, they’ll premiere locally, then live on DreamReel, our app launching in 2026. That’s where our audience can follow the full journey.

Even more, we’re offering ownership through NFTs. These digital tokens will let people invest in the films they love and help fund future stories. As a result, creators and fans can grow something valuable—together.

We’re Using AI—but Differently

AI is changing every creative industry. But here’s the thing: most people use it to take shortcuts. We don’t.

Instead, we built a storytelling system called CINETRIX. It helps us shape each film with smart tools while still leading with heart. We improve it every quarter. As a result, our stories grow stronger—and so does our tech.

This isn’t about replacing humans.
It’s about helping humans go further.

It Hasn’t Been Easy—But It’s Been Worth It

We started with four. Now, only one remains: Jay Curtis.

Even so, Jay didn’t stop. Instead, he leaned into technology and built a system of AI assistants to help keep the mission alive. Until we have a full team again, these tools help run daily operations, production, and communication.

Clearly, this is a new kind of studio.
And it’s working.

Your Story Starts Here

We’ve come a long way. But honestly, we’re just getting started.

Whether you’re an actor, editor, musician, writer, camera op, coder, or community supporter—this movement needs you.

You can follow, join, or support.
Whichever path you choose, we’re building something special—and you’re invited.
